Here's a sneak peek of my new Mother’s Day eCard for Hallmark!

Sneak peek of a Mother's Day eCard animation by Jeca Martinez

Hallmark asked me to create an eCard for a Mother's Day poem they wrote, and they had this concept in mind of a camera panning around the exterior of a house while natural elements such as flowers and clouds form the words.

Greet your friends a very Happy Birthday in all the fiesta glory of pinatas, picado banners, and more with this festive new eCard I made for Hallmark!

I was commissioned by Andie of Andies Candies to create an original wall art illustration for her new candy store in Nigeria. She wanted a thought bubble filled with candy with the words "Candy On My Mind" so that whoever sat under it would look like he/she is thinking of candy (definitely a fun idea for pictures!).

Spread the love with some hugs! Happy Hearts Day!
I've had the pleasure to work with Hallmark yet again on two new eCards just in time for Hanukkah.

For the first eCard, Hallmark wanted something sweet and heartfelt, so I played with patterns and pastel colors in a soft, watercolor style. Below are animation loops of the animals in my card (click each to enlarge):

For the second eCard, I immediately had the idea for the concept when I found out that Hanukkah is also called the Jewish Festival of Lights--so why not have lights (or flames) literally having a festival?

Illustrations created over the course of eight weeks for my Environmental Sketching for Production Class with Armand Serrano at the Computer Graphics Master Academy.

The illustrations above further develops and explores the concept I had with the illustration below, which I drew a few months prior to taking the course:

My entry for LoopdeLoop's animation challenge. The theme was “Childhood”, and my animation is inspired by the time I tried to send letters to Mother Nature after watching a Nickelodeon cartoon of a kid writing to her on leaves.

This, along with all the other loops featured on their blog, was screened at Loop in Melbourne, and at Nickelodeon Studios in California.

A promotional illustration for Elisa Ludwig's thrilling new YA novel Coin Heist. I was asked by Adaptive Studios to draw any scene from the story, and I chose the moment where the main characters Benny, Alice, Jason, and Dakota got together for the first time to plan their heist.
